CME Division

The Continuous Medical Education (CME) division of IOMED is the newest division of IOMED, as the need to update the health care professionals with the leading edge updates in their specialties; the CME division is established with the objective to keep healthcare professionals in the Middle East region up with the latest updates in medicine. The CME division objective is to help healthcare professionals maintain competence and learn about new and developing areas of their specialization.

The CME division specializes in the development and implementation of continuous medical educational (CME) programs that integrate key clinical data and educational messages. We work in partnership with nationally accredited institutions and associations and we are seeking to establish partnerships and strategic alliances with international universities, institutions and organizations to provide educational programs for physicians and pharmacists in the Middle East region.

Continuing Medical Education programs will be directed at Healthcare providers in national and international settings, as is appropriate. Healthcare providers may include physicians, pharmacists, academics, researchers, health care specialists, and students.

IOMED is committed to providing Healthcare providers with educational opportunities that comply with the national and international standards and align with the re-licenser process in their countries.

Target Audience

These programs are intended for health care providers; primary care physicians with general diversified practices and pharmacists.

Learning Goal

To provide general updates in specialized areas of medicine to health care providers.

Program Formats

The programs may consist of live sessions, videoconferencing or any other format that could be tailored according to the need.

In accordance with this policy, IOMED identifies conflicts of interest with its instructors, content managers, and other individuals who are in a position to control the content of an activity. Conflicts are resolved by IOMED to ensure that all scientific research referred to, reported, or used in a CME activity conforms to the generally accepted standards of experimental design, data collection and analysis.
